What better time than the first days of a new year to launch a new blog?
This blog is the fruit of a collaboration between a group of students, professionals and researchers in the fields of archives and records management first begun at the ICA Congress in Kuala Lumpur. It is our hope that, through this blog, the collaboration and exchange of ideas and resources begun this summer will only continue to grow. We want to start a conversation that spans generations and crosses national and institutional boundaries. We want to talk about research and development, standards, legal matters, conferences, projects, international collaborations, and literature that pertains to archives and records management. While each author is solely responsible for the content of their articles, we want this blog to serve as a reminder of the international nature of the concerns we encounter in the exercise of our professions.
We invite the full participation of anyone interested in archival and records management issues by commenting on posts, suggesting ideas, or contributing articles. You can visit the contribute section of the blog to find out more about how to participate.
